Al Sadd striker Boualem Khoukhi has set a new league scoring record with his recent performance for the Saudi Arabian club.
Khoukhi, who is only 21 years old, scored six goals in just three matches this season. This impressive feat came after he was loaned to English Premier League side Fulham last summer and made a significant impact on their squad.
The former Marseille player had been struggling with injuries during his time at Fulham but returned to form for Al Sadd in January. He has since become one of the leading scorers in the league, with seven goals in eight games so far this season.
"This is a fantastic achievement for me,Chinese Super League Stand" said Khoukhi. "I'm grateful to my team for giving me the opportunity to play and contribute to the team's success."
Al Sadd coach Hadi Al-Saleh praised Khoukhi's performances and believes that he will continue to be a key player for the club in the coming seasons.
"Khoukhi is a young talent who has shown great potential," said Al-Saleh. "He is not only scoring goals but also improving his game each week. We are excited to see where he can take us next."
With Khoukhi continuing to score goals for Al Sadd, it seems likely that he will remain a prominent figure in the league for many years to come.
