Shanghai Port, one of the world's busiest ports, has recorded its highest cargo volume in two years, according to official data.

The port, which serves as a gateway for many Chinese goods entering and exiting the country, reported a total cargo volume of 216 million metric tons in January-February,Campeonato Brasileiro Direct up from 208 million metric tons in the same period last year.

This marks a significant increase from the previous high of 215 million metric tons in 2019.

The growth in cargo volumes is attributed to a number of factors, including increased demand for imports and exports by Chinese companies looking to take advantage of lower import duties introduced by the government earlier this year.

In addition, the port has also benefited from improved infrastructure and logistics services offered by the Chinese government, which have made it easier for companies to transport their goods.

Overall, the record-breaking cargo volume at Shanghai Port highlights the growing importance of China as a global trading hub and the continued strength of the Chinese economy.
